We've had an action packed first day full of learning. We've learnt how to make a bed and our own lunch, how to navigate our way around to centre and we're currently learning more about our special Minstead names.
This afternoon we loved exploring the local streams and seeing our latest geography topic about rivers 'spring' to life' . We then became scientists and used nets to find and explore the creatures that have made the streams their home. and used classification keys to identify them.
Tea tonight was homemade pizza, wedges and salad followed by chocolate crispy cake. Later, we're looking forward to songs around the campfire in the roundhouse before falling into our freshly made beds, going straightvto sleep and dreaming of all of the fun we'll have tomorrow 😴
