Yesterday, our Eco-Committee shared what they have learnt, from the Environmental Review, with the rest of the School in Assembly. They explained what the Environmental Review is, what each of the topics in the Review are about and how we are performing as a school on these eco topics. They also revealed which topics they have chosen to cover - Water, Waste and Energy. These were chosen because they are the areas we scored least well on in the Environmental Review.
Pupils and staff were encouraged to make suggestions on what actions we can take, on these three topics, to improve our environment. Ideas will be discussed in class and suggestions can be made via the suggestions folder on our Eco-Boards. When we have a number of ideas submitted, the Eco-Committee will have another meeting to consider these options before moving on to writing their Action Plan.
