We have had our first eco-schools meeting of the year and had a chance to get to know each other. We are all very proud to have achieved the green flag with merit last year and we're looking forward to continuing to help the environment this year.
We have entered some names into the West Berkshire Council competition to name their food waste trucks. We're hoping one of our names will be chosen so we can win a prize for ourselves and the school. Isla and Felicity have written to the garden centre and asked for a donation of seeds. This week, the eco-committee will lead class meetings and ask their classmates to complete the environmental review, so that we can choose our actions for this year.
