Last Wednesday, we had our first Eco-Committee meeting, with the whole school involved in a live video assembly. Each of the committee members introduced themselves, explaining why they care about the environment and what they want to see changed to make our Partnership, and the world in general, a better place.
In the meeting, Miss Shepherd discussed continuing with the work we started last year and gave each class the tasks of choosing 2 energy monitors and ensuring they have crisp and pen recycling boxes in their class rooms.
This week, in class assemblies, each class filled in the Eco-Schools Environmental Review. This will help the Eco-Committee to decide which other 2 environmental topics to focus on for the next 2 years, in addition to Energy, Water and Waste.
