It’s been a really busy day and the children have learnt so much about rivers, invertebrates and maps. They have thrived learning outside in the fresh air as they’ve made maps, inspected river creatures under microscopes and explored the grounds.
After a delicious tea of sausages, roast potatoes, carrots and leeks followed by crumble and custard we realised we’d eaten a colour wheel today: redcurrants, oranges, apples, bananas, tomatoes and even pumpkin. Yum.
We’re now snuggled up on he beanbags watching Nativity, chatting with friends and sharing games.
