Outdoor Classroom Day And 30 Days Wild!

As an Eco-School, we are very passionate about making the most of our outdoor environment and we are currently trying to increase the amount of outdoor learning that we do. With this in mind, we are taking part in Outdoor Classroom Day on Thursday 20th May (weather permitting). Over the course of the day, children will participate in a range of exciting outdoor activities linked to English, Maths and the wider curriculum.

After Outdoor Classroom Day, we are planning to take part in the Wildlife Trusts 30 Days Wild again. The children will be challenged, by their teachers, throughout June to do one wild thing every day. This could be anything from cloud watching to reading a story under a tree.

The initiative is available for anyone to join in. If you would like to participate at home, simply go to the Wildlife Trusts website and sign up for a free activity pack. Have fun!
