On Tuesday 25th February, the children across the Partnership took part in an assembly led by Mr Stevens, a representative from the charity WaterAid. Mr Stevens introduced the children to the acryonym – SSH (Safe Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) when he explained the work of WaterAid. The children learnt about the various projects that the charity gets involved in and how WaterAid is making a difference to so many lives across the world. The assembly was an excellent launch for our forthcoming Water Warrior Day on Friday 28th February.
Afterwards, Mr Stevens commented, “It was probably the most enjoyable primary school visit I have made. The children were so well behaved and receptive and the questions from the Year 4 group were both mature and searching.”
