West Berkshire Libraries - Access And Activities

Government restrictions for managing COVID-19 mean that all West Berkshire Libraries buildings are currently closed except for book collections. However, families can still borrow physical books by using the Order & Collect service. Simply fill in their Order & Collect form online or ring your local library and a selection of books will be chosen for you. You can then collect them from any West Berkshire library.

Children with a library card or online membership for West Berkshire Libraries can also borrow and download e-books, e-magazines, e-newspapers and e-audiobooks from home.

West Berkshire Libraries are also providing some fun online activities for children to get involved in each week:

Friday Storytimes – every Friday morning they post a link to a new Storytime video on their social media pages. These are always fun, popular stories, read by members of library staff or volunteers.

Weekend Quick Crafts – every Saturday morning on Facebook and Instagram, and every Sunday morning on Twitter, they post a fun, book-related quick craft activity. The crafts are always simple to follow and made from household materials.
