Lower School children have been busy writing poems this week. There are so many good examples that we could share. Casey-Lei’s poem about a cat really caught Mrs Dillon and Mrs Bull’s eye. Wow!
He is a magnet to food,
A soft, silent, sneaky, snake.
He has glowing yellow eyes, brighter than the stars.
A bold black cat, soft and fluffy as a winter coat,
Crash! What was that noise? He runs roughly to my home.
Lifting him up, he purrs calmly.
He is wet, I don’t mind,
Crack! More lightning forms.
I name him Storm.
By Casey-Lei in memory of her cat Storm that sadly died on 21st May 2018.
