Rosa Parks bus boycott re-enactment

January 24, 2019

On Tuesday afternoon in the playground Year 2 recreated the true story of Rosa Parks. We wore different coloured bibs and had to sit in different seats on a bus. The bus driver told the people who were wearing red bibs to sit at the back of the bus and yellow bibs had to sit at the front. The red bibs felt very annoyed because they had to move out of the way for the yellow bibs.

After a while, we got off the coach and the bus driver allowed us to sit wherever we wanted to sit! We felt very grateful that we can now sit wherever we like because it doesn't matter what colour bib you are wearing!

How fun it was!
