On Thursday 23rd May, Year 6 chidlren were lucky enough to travel to London to watch ‘The School of Rock.’ After dodging the never-ending London roadworks, we were escorted to our seats which were only 3 rows from the stage!
The performance was amazing: watching children sing and play musical instruments live on stage was inspiring. We left the theatre excited and motivated to make our summer production just as great.
“It was a very good show. There was a lot of comedy in it and the instrument playing was impressive.” Joe
“We enjoyed having front row seats and getting a taster of what we are going to do in our play.” Emily and Eleanor
Year 6 will be taking to the stage to perform Darwin Rocks on Tuesday 16th July at 1.45pm and Wednesday 17th July at 6.00pm. They are a talented bunch and we look forward to seeing the fruits of their labour.
