The children at Parsons Down Partnership have enjoyed being wild throughout June. Staff have been encouraging everyone to do something inspired by nature every day throughout the month, including outdoor activities such as walks, bug hunts, cloud watching and den building or bringing nature indoors by growing plants from seed. The children also enjoyed wearing their wild outfits on Wear It Wild Day, raising money for WWF. We also had some wonderful entries to the Wild Readers Competition.
Throughout the month the children have been encouraged to enjoy the great outdoors and think about how they can care for the environment, developing their understanding of environmental issues and the small things they could do to help stop climate change.
