Our Foundation children were very excited about their trip to Rushall Farm on Tuesday. They were eager to board the coach and strap themselves into their seats, it was lovely to hear their cheerful chatter and they even broke into song!
Once we arrived at the farm we were swiftly led to a variety of activities by the education leaders. Activities included pond dipping, a woodland walk, milling wheat, a bumpy tractor ride, feeding chickens, petting lambs and learning about bees. One of the highlights was spotting the queen bee in the bee hive and tasting some delicious honey! It was wonderful to hear the farm staff praise the children on their manners and behaviour - they really were a credit to the school.
