Eco-Schools Update

"On Tuesday 21st September, the new eco-council met for the first time. It was amazing to be able to get together rather than meet on Zoom. We looked back on the successes of the last year and talked about what needs to be done, to make sure we achieve the green flag again this year. We will be asking our classes to choose monitors for litter, energy, crisp packets and pens and making sure each class has got a box for recycling pens and crisp packets. Year 6 eco-councilors will be responsible for emptying the main crisp packet recycling bin in the hall this term. We are looking forward to the next meeting and making more plans for the year ahead, including a Waste Warriors Day and a non-curriculum day about saving energy."
