On Tuesday 17th March, 27 pupils all tried their best in the Cross Country Championships representing our school. It was very brave of everyone who participated to run with lots of pressure and people spectating. There were 4 races overall, each race having around 400 people running in a 4.35 kilometre track. Rosie, Melissa and Theo all had an amazing run, with Theo getting 67th in the year 5 and 6 boys’ race, Rosie getting 26th in the year 3 and 4 girls race and Melissa gett

Sporting fixtures are continuing at pace. This week it was the turn of U9 Boys. We were only expecting to play one game and an additional match did come as a surprise! We are so proud of this group of boys. They battled hard, played their hearts out and grew as a team as each game went on. Unfortunately, they lost both matches but they should be very proud of rising to Wednesday afternoon’s challenge.

Last Saturday, a team of Year 1 and 2 pupils took part in a football tournament organised by Thatcham Tornadoes. I am so proud of all of them. They played brilliantly and considering they haven’t played together as a team they did a magnificent job. We clearly have some very talented footballers. Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to everyone who supported them.
