U11 Boys' Football - Mini Tournament
Our U11 Boys’ football team braved the wet and windy weather this afternoon in a mini tournament at Long Lane Primary. They battled hard but lost 3 games and drew one which unfortunately means they don’t go through to the next stage. Great effort boys!

U11 ESFA League Finals
Congratulations to the girls on making the ESFA finals! The team had an amazing afternoon of football, involving 6 schools. Up against some tough competition, in the pouring rain and muddy conditions, Parsons Down lost 1 game, drew 2 games and won 2 games, coming in third overall in the District, a fantastic achievement! Thank you to the parents for your support.

U9 Boys Football
Sporting fixtures are continuing at pace. This week it was the turn of U9 Boys. We were only expecting to play one game and an additional match did come as a surprise! We are so proud of this group of boys. They battled hard, played their hearts out and grew as a team as each game went on. Unfortunately, they lost both matches but they should be very proud of rising to Wednesday afternoon’s challenge.

Infant School Football Tournament
Last Saturday, a team of Year 1 and 2 pupils took part in a football tournament organised by Thatcham Tornadoes. I am so proud of all of them. They played brilliantly and considering they haven’t played together as a team they did a magnificent job. We clearly have some very talented footballers. Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to everyone who supported them.

U11 Boys' Football
On Wednesday our U11 Boys’ football team had a strong start to the season. What an afternoon, the boys played their hearts out and were amazing! Some of the best football Mrs Hoskins has seen and against some very strong opposition. We came second in our group behind Spurcroft having only conceded 1 goal the whole afternoon. Top team from the group go through, best goal different second place across the leagues go through so we will need to wait and see!
