Join Thatcham Litter Pickers This Weekend

Thatcham Litter Pickers will be hosting a "Mega Pick" around Thatcham this Saturday. They provide the equipment, all you need to do is turn up and help. They are meeting at the Moors play area this Saturday (3rd May) at 10am.

Kids really love getting involved in litter picking and it's a free activity that will keep them entertained this weekend!

"In the hope of making a real difference we are starting at The Moors Park as this is a fairly central location. You can then pick the park, head to Kennet Heath, the nature reserve, crownmead or the town centre.

The pick will start at 10:00 but you can come any time and pick for as long as you like. You can collect all the equipment you need - picker, bag hoop, hi viz and bags and then head out picking. Come back at 11:30 or earlier to drop off your litter. Stay for a photo if you would like.

Please bring reusable gloves and a reusable water bottle just in case you get thirsty."
