Well done to our brilliant Y6 netball team that competed against teams from Falkland, Speenhamland and Basildon this afternoon.
In a round robin format, the team started really positively, with some sharp shooting giving the team a well deserved win against Basildon. This was followed up by a solid performance against Speenhamland and finishing with a final flourish and a win against a Falkland!
A number of spectators commented how well the team played, with sharp passing, superb movement and excellent defence providing the foundation for our shooters to shine under the posts.
Final mention for an exceptional performance must go to our Goal Keeper who, once again, spent her entire afternoon frustrating the opposition with some outstanding defence!
With my thanks to the parents and teachers that supported the team, and the lovely Mrs. Atkinson & Mrs. Goddard, both of whom gave up their time as first aiders. Teamwork really does make the dream work!
