Our Year 6 children and staff have arrived safely in North Wales for this year’s residential.

After unpacking, making beds and getting kitted out it was time for their first meal: Fish fingers, chips and peas. Jelly and ice-cream for pudding!

It was then time for the first activity; the evening walk. The weather was relatively kind and we managed to get the first team photo at the top of the hill behind the centre and some scenic shots as well. It’s a beautiful location.

As the sun sets on day one they are hoping to get back to the centre before rain sets in. Let’s hope they all get some sleep as they will awake to an action packed day tomorrow.

We’ll continue with evening updates. We hope everyone at home sleeps well knowing they have arrived safe and sound 😀
