Parsons Down Partnership was formed on 4th February 2013 when Parsons Down Infant and Junior Schools officially became a Federation under one Executive Headteacher and one governing body. The schools are officially two schools but work as one community.

To secure the financial future of the Partnership, we have worked closely with the local authority and have reduced our Pupil Admission Number (PAN) from two form (60) to one form from September 2021. Once located in three buildings we have consolidated the three buildings into one building on the site of the Junior School. The remodelled building was officially opened in September 2022 with all pupils being educated in the main building.

The school currently has 225 pupils on roll from EYFS to Year 6 and they are taught in 8 single age year group classes across the Partnership. Our staff are very experienced and many have had a long association with Parsons Down.

The school sits in extensive grounds and is very proud to be an accredited Eco School with distinction. In January 2026 we also became a gold standard accredited OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) school. We also hold a Gold Games Mark. Opportunities for pupil leadership have been crucial in attaining these accreditations. We have a very active Eco Council, School Council and systems of Year 6 House Captains and monitors.
