"It's been the best day of my life" What a fabulous way to start our day 4 blog ❤️ These words were overheard after a day spent gorge walking and paddleboarding.
It's been a day of mixed weather with a beautiful rainbow overhead Lake Bala, the location of today's paddleboarding.
Two groups spent the day enjoying splashing around. We were concerned that, due to the dry summer, gorge walking wouldn't be possible but recent rain meant this annual favourite activity could go ahead.
The remaining two groups spent the day underground exploring a disused slate mine. Another favourite activity.
After another full on day, tonight's activity is movie night and children are chilling in the lounge before they roll into bed 😴
Staff have been really impressed with the children and how they are embracing the challenges and opportunities this week. They're really enjoying getting to know them better.
